This historic 1904 home was meticulously restored to its original roots. Hidden beneath layers of time and various remodels, its architectural history was uncovered and put at the forefront. With thoughtful care, we revitalized both exterior and interior spaces, pairing contemporary comforts with the charm of timeless craftsmanship. The result is a blend of past and present, where history subtly balances with modern Portland living.
When we started our project, Akos immediately took a collaborative approach with both our architect and ourselves. They often made suggestions that vastly improved our project. Akos expertly dealt with the oddities of our old house so we could retain architectural details while transforming it into a modern, functional house. They simply made problems go away...and made a complicated schedule work, allowing a complete landscape overhaul to happen at the same time.
